Club Car 2001 Installation Instructions

Remove existing seat backsupport structure, bag rack and factory rear roof supports and retain (4)front bolts.
Remove rear bumper, retaining the Phillips head bolts for future use.
During the installation process, leave all fastenings loose until the completed assembly, this will speed the process and permit slight adjustments prior to tightening all fasteners.

STEP 1 : Remove the factory front seat back from it's support structure and attach the seat back to the two "v" shaped brackets using (4) ¼-20 x ¾ hex m/c screws.

Attach the rear seat back supplied to the "v" brackets using (2) ¼-20 x ¾ hex m/c screws (refer to pics for correct positioning)

STEP 2: Locate back rest assy on cart and loosley fix (4) existing bolts at front; position the outer frame on cart ensuring the back rest assy feet are located over outer frame and loosley secure with (2) 5/16-18 x 2 hex screws, washers and nylock nuts. Center assy and tighten all bolts.

Step 3: attach the armrests with (4) 5/16-18 x 1.75 pan head, washers, nylock nuts and loosley secure to the outer frame. Attach the supplied roof struts to the roof with original hardware; loosley attach bottom of roof struts to armrest with (4) 5/16-18 x 2.5 hex screw, washer nylock nuts.

Step 4: locate the "l" shaped brackets and footrest using existing phillip screws from the bumper mount. All other hardware is provided (2) 5/16-18 x 1 csk phillips, washers, nylock nuts.

Remember to loosely attach the hardware.

Step 5: mount plastic board inside the inner frame pushing it all the way forward. Secure with (2). ¼-20 x 1 csk phiilps flat, nylock nuts. Plastic board to outer frame will be installed at our facility with (2). ¼-20 x 1 csk phiilps flat, nylock nuts.

Step 6: centralize the seat cushion on the inner flip frame and plastic board supplied ensuring the cushion is against the front lip closest to the pivot point and secure with hardware provided (4) #12 x 2 phillips head screw tap

Step 7: tighten all hardware and test flip kit for fit and function.
